Junior Dragons Den (JDD) is an annual student business competition for youth entrepreneurs in grades 7 to post secondary school. Open to students throughout the East and West Kootenay and Peace Liard regions of British Columbia, JDD challenges students to create their own summer job / business, or to expand an existing one. The business ideas are judged by a panel of “dragons” and the best concepts are awarded cash prizes.
Students may enter the competition in one of the following categories:
Junior – Grades 7-10
Senior – Grade 11-12
Post-Secondary – College/ University/ Trades
