Our office may be closed, but Community Futures Central Kootenay is still open, delivering all of our excellent programs and services remotely. Community Futures staff continue to work remotely.
The Province of British Columbia is currently in Step 3 of its Restart Plan. We are following the guidance of the Provincial Health Office, and have begun a gradual transition back to the workplace for our staff. We plan to re-open our office to the public in Step 4, which may be September 7 at the earliest. We are also transitioning from a COVID-19 Safety Plan to a communicable disease plan. As we transition, some Covid-19 safety measures are still in place. We encourage our staff and visitors to our workplace to keep wearing a mask until they are fully vaccinated (14 days after Dose 2) and to maintain healthy habits like hand hygiene, covering coughs and sneezes, staying home when sick, and getting recommended vaccinations.
Appointments can be made with staff by phone, video conference or – based on staff discretion – in-person at our office. If you know the staff person you wish to meet with, you can find their contact information in our Staff Directory. If you’re not sure which programs or services are right for you, contact reception at firstname.lastname@example.org.
