Core Community Futures Central Kootenay programs (including the Business Loans Program, Self Employment Program, Business Counselling, and Community Economic Development), are open to residents of the Central Kootenay Region (see map below).

- Export Navigator Program: Michael Hoher, Export Advisor, helps businesses in the Kootenay and Boundary regions
- West Kootenay Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot: the pilot was expanded at the end of 2022 to include all of Regional District Central Kootenay and most of Regional District Kootenay Boundary (excluding Beaverdell).
