Steve Likness is a Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic and a licensed propane Gasfitter. In the spring of 1996 he established Arrow Refrigeration Services. He specializes in commercial refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps.
His customers are primarily grocery and convenience stores, restaurants and hospitals.
His large service area covers businesses in Nakusp, Edgewood, Trout Lake and south through the communities of New Denver, Silverton and Kaslo.
He is looking down the road to retirement and within the next few years he hopes to hire an apprentice who would eventually take over the business.
When asked what advice he would have for new entrepreneurs he replied, “To become successful you need to provide good customer service in order to keep your customers happy.”
