Full of fun, colour and childhood magic, Brent Kennedy Learning Centre, located in South Slocan, offers an early literacy preschool & daycare with a before and after school program. Winner of the ‘New Business of the Year’ award in 2005, the program provides loving, quality childcare to families in the Slocan Valley area, enabling parents to pursue employment and education.
The daycare had been closed by the previous not-for-profit operator leaving families with no local childcare centre. Many families would not be able to work or would have been forced to leave the community if not for the business.
Susie and her amazing staff provide wonderful, safe, and educational care. Emphasis on literacy, numeracy and school readiness for preschool aged children allows children to benefit from a wide variety of learning experiences in a dynamic and supportive environment.
