Chris and Andrea Ryman moved to the West Kootenays in search of paradise. What they found was an Endless Adventure. With over 10 years experience in Whitewater paddling, Andrea and Chris became the new owners of Wild Ways Water Sports in beautiful Crescent Valley. Endless Adventure was born from a passion for the sport and its wonderful community.
Chris Ryman started out his career on the Ottawa River working for rafting giant Wilderness Tours, after completing their kayak course the previous year. Chris worked in many areas of the company learning the business and perfecting his kayaking skills in the meantime. He worked in the video department and managed the resorts restaurant while teaching kayaking in his spare time. From 2001 to 2003 He competed at the Pro level in Freestyle Whitewater kayaking. Chris’ interest in creek boating brought him west for the first time in 2003 where he continues to instruct and log as many first descents as possible while juggling business and family life.
Andrea met Chris on the Ottawa River and learned to kayak shortly after. Andrea currently specializes in inflatable kayaking, where she continues to push the limits of the sport. With a background in customer service and marketing, Andrea has the clients best interest in mind. She brings her passion as a photographer to the business offering stunning memory packages to our tour guests. If you happen to see her on the river with her camera be sure to smile!
