Mike Webster is a Registered Forest Technologist with over 40 years’ experience in the forest industry.
He started North Arrow Consulting in 2011, providing consulting services for resource industries and specializing in all aspects of resource road management. These services include road inspections, preparing maintenance prescriptions, preparing contract documents, liaising with government ministries and project supervision.
His company has clients throughout the Kootenay, Columbia and the Okanagan regions. They range from small private entities to large corporations.
When asked what advice he has for new entrepreneurs he stressed, “It is so important to prepare a good business plan so you understand your business beforehand. Going through all the steps required for the Self Employment Program set me up to win! It is all up to you to make a success of your business.”
