Self Employment Program
The Self-Employment Program, supported by the Canada-British Columbia Labour Market Agreement, helps people who are unemployed and wish to start their own business.
Business Loans
During the past 22 years Community Futures has authorized loans totaling more than $20 million to 650+ businesses, creating or maintaining close to 2,100 jobs throughout the Central Kootenay.

The business resource library at Community Futures houses a wide variety of business resources. Books can be borrowed from the lending library two at a time for two weeks.
