How KEG Started
Starting a business can often feel like a solitary journey, but KEG changes that. Founder Jenine Lillian shares their inspiration for starting the group:
“I felt very isolated trying to find resources, write a business plan, and forecast financials. After attending a webinar by CFCK’s Start-Up Business Advisor, Amber McGregor, I asked everyone I met, ‘Is there a group for entrepreneurs to connect?’ There wasn’t—so I started one!”
Since its inception in March 2024, KEG has grown from an idea to a thriving group with more than 45 attendees at monthly meetups.
