In just one year, Kootenay Entrepreneurs Group (KEG) brought together hundreds of entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration, connection, and community.
About KEG
KEG was a space for aspiring and established entrepreneurs to network, share knowledge, and collaborate. From March 2024 to March 2025, KEG hosted 13 monthly meetups and 3 Quarterly Networking Events (Q-KEG), supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs across the Kootenay region. While KEG’s meetups and events have ended, the relationships built and lessons learned remain valuable to those involved.

Starting a business can often feel like a solitary journey, but KEG helped change that. What began as a simple idea quickly grew into a thriving, supportive community.
As many participants shared, KEG was never just about growing a business—it was about what can happen when people connect authentically to support one another. The goal now is to carry forward those connections, collaborations, and lessons into new spaces and communities.
