Core Community Futures Central Kootenay programs, including the Business Loans Program, Business Counselling, and Community Economic Development, are open to residents of the Central Kootenay Region (see map below).

- Export Navigator Program: Michael Hoher, Export Advisor, helps businesses in the Kootenay and Boundary regions
- West Kootenay Rural Community Immigration Pilot: the pilot include all of the Regional District of Central Kootenay and most of Regional Districtof Kootenay Boundary (excluding Beaverdell & Big White).
- Start-Up Business Advisor: Amber McGregor, the Start-Up Business Advisor, provides start-up supports to new entrepreneurs in the Central Kootenay and South Kootenay (Greater Trail) regions.
